About Sarah Horowitz
Sarah Horowitz lives at the base of the eastern Cascade Mountains in Leavenworth, Washington. Previously she was in Portland Oregon for fourteen years where she was member of Atelier Mars printmaking workshop and taught printmaking at Portland State University. In addition to prints and drawings, Horowitz produces hand printed and bound artist's books under her imprint Wiesedruck. Horowitz recently attended residencies at the Oak Spring Garden Foundation in Upperville, Virginia and at ArtBellwald in Bellwald, Switzerland. She has received several grants from Portland State University and the Regional Arts and Culture Council, Oregon. Her prints and drawings are represented by Froelick Gallery in Portland, Oregon and her books by Kenneth Shure (Gehenna Press/Two Ponds Press).
